Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 10 November 2025

We at YOGDHAANM SHARA SMITI FOUNDATION strive to provide transparent and fair refund and cancellation processes for all bookings, memberships and event fees. This policy explains the terms and timeline for refunds.

1. General Principles

  • All refunds are subject to verification and standard payment-gateway processing timelines.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment source (card, UPI, netbanking, wallet) unless otherwise approved by the Foundation.
  • Any fee charged by the payment gateway (processing fees) may be deducted from the refundable amount if explicitly stated at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation by Participant

Cancellation requests by participants must be submitted in writing to the email address provided below. The refund eligibility depends on the event and booking type:

  • Standard Booking / Membership: Non-refundable unless a specific cancellation window was announced at the time of booking.
  • Event Cancellation by Participant: If cancellation is requested at least 7 calendar days prior to the event, a partial refund (if permitted) may be considered at the sole discretion of the Foundation.

3. Cancellation by the Foundation

If the Foundation cancels an event or service for any reason, registrants will be offered either:

  • Full refund to the original payment method, OR
  • Transfer of the paid amount (credit) towards an alternative event or future offering (as agreed between the participant and Foundation).

4. Duplicate Payments & Payment Failures

  • In case of duplicate payment or failed booking where funds were debited but booking not confirmed, please inform us immediately with payment screenshot / UTR / transaction reference.
  • We will investigate and process refund for verified duplicate transactions within the timelines stated below.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

  • UPI / Netbanking / Wallets: Refunds are generally processed within 3–7 working days.
  • Debit / Credit Cards: Refunds may take 7–10 working days to reflect in your account.

Note: Timelines depend on banks and payment gateways. The Foundation will assist but cannot guarantee delays beyond its control.

6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email your refund/cancellation request to: aadiro96@gmail.com with subject line β€œRefund Request – [Booking/Invoice No.]”.
  2. Include:
    • Full name
    • Booking / Invoice number
    • Transaction reference / UTR / screenshot
    • Reason for refund
  3. We will acknowledge receipt within 2 working days and process it accordingly.
